Women’s golf team finishes in fourth-place at Franklin College Lady Grizzly Invitational

The Olivet College women's golf team finished in fourth-place today at the Franklin (Ind.) College Lady Grizzly Fall Invitational, which was played at The Legends of Indiana Country Club in Franklin.

The Comets carded a two-day total of 682 (349-333). DePauw (Ind.) University captured the team title with a 650 (315-335). The University of Southern Indiana was runner-up at 654 and Otterbein (Ohio) College was third at 667.

Individually, junior Stephanie Nicolai (Shelbyville/Wayland Union) led Olivet with a 166 (84-82). She was followed by freshman Trisha McKim (DeWitt) at 170 (89-81) and sophomore Jennifer Lambarth (Saline) at 171 (86-85). Freshman Lindsay Pipkin (White Lake/Lakeland) and senior Katie Edick (Charlotte) each posted a 177.

This tournament wrapped-up the 2005 fall season for Olivet. The Comets will also play during the spring with that schedule being announced at a later time.
