Lady golfers finish in sixth-place at MIAA Championships
The Olivet College women's golf team finished in sixth-place today at the 2003 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships at the Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek.

In the overall MIAA standings, the Lady Comets finished in fifth-place with a team average of 386.2 strokes. Individually, freshman Kristy Latimer (Battle Creek/Harper Creek High School) earned second-team All-MIAA honors with a 89.6 stroke average in five rounds.
Today, Olivet carded a team score of 380 strokes for a two-day score of 762 strokes. Calvin was fifth with 761 strokes. Latimer led the Comets today with an 88 for a two-day score of 177 strokes.
Following Latimer were sophomore Wendy Mickelwait (Middleville/Thornapple Kellogg High School) with a 192, freshman Stephanie Nicolai (Shelbyville/Wayland Union High School) wth a 196, freshman Lindsey Struble (Battle Creek High School) with a 201 and freshman Amanda London (Marshall High School) with a 205. Sophomore Katie Edick (Charlotte High School) fired a 98.
