Women's basketball team volunteers at West Michigan Miracle League
OLIVET, Mich. -- The Olivet College women's basketball team volunteered Sunday, Sept. 15, at the West Michigan Miracle League field in Rockford. The Miracle League's mission is providing children with disabilities the opportunity to play baseball. Each Comet women's basketball player partnered up with individuals on each team and spent the day as their baseball buddy.
"We are so thankful for organizations like West Michigan Miracle League who allow us to be a part of something bigger than ourselves," said Olivet head women's basketball coach Brittany Zandstra. "Our girls had so much fun spending the day with each player and left with a little extra gratitude for the blessings they've each been given!"
