Olivet College’s Campbell named to D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region team

OLIVET, Mich. – Olivet College junior guard Kelsey Campbell (Olivet) has been named to the 2012-13 D3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region third-team. She is believed to be the first women's basketball player in school history to earn D3hoops.com All-Region honors.

Campbell, a two-time All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) selection, averaged 10.8 points per game for the Comets and led the team with 46 three-pointers made, 58 free throws made and 143 assists, which is a single-season school record. She helped the Comets tie the single-season school record with 15 wins, while breaking the record for MIAA wins with 10. Campbell's single-game highs were 26 points at Kalamazoo College and MIAA-record 16 assists versus Alma College.
