2021 Olivet College Men's Cross Country News
FREELAND, Mich. – One hundred thirty-one (131) Olivet College student-athletes have made the grade and landed on the 2021-22 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll.
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country team have earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors for the 2021 fall semester.
SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team finished 32nd (of 37 schools) at the 2021 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Meet. Franklin (Ind.) College hosted the meet at the Blue River Cross Country Course.
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team placed fourth at the 2021 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship, hosted by Saint Mary’s (Ind.) College.
OBERLIN, Ohio – The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in 30th-place at the 2021 Inter-Regional Rumble, hosted by Oberlin (Ohio) College.
LANSING, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed today at the 2021 Lansing Community College Invitational, run at Grand Woods Park. The men’s team finished eighth of 22 schools, while the women’s team was 12th of 19 schools. The field was comprised of schools from all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA levels.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams ran this morning at the 2021 Michigan State University Spartan Invitational, held at the Forest Akers East Golf Course. The women’s team placed 19th, and the men’s team placed 20th.
CHARLOTTE, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s cross country team opened the 2021 season by hosting the Comet Open at the Broadway Acres Golf Course in nearby Charlotte. The meet was unscored and featured the Comets along with Adrian College, Albion College, Great Lakes Christian College, Hope College, Jackson College, Kellogg Community College and Lansing Community College.
