Men's cross country team competes at MIAA Championships

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Olivet College men's cross country team ran today at the 2010 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships. Calvin College hosted the meet on its home course at the Gainey Athletic Facility in Grand Rapids.
The men had just four runners, which was not enough to produce a team score. Sophomore Brock Hubbard (Battle Creek/Harper Creek) was their top finisher, as he covered the 8K course in 30:04.0. Junior Alex Johnson (Atlantic Mine /Houghton) finished in 30:43.3.
Olivet will now be off for two weeks and compete at the 2010 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Saturday, Nov. 13, at Hope.
