Hawkins named MIAA Field Athlete of the Week
FREELAND, Mich. – Olivet College junior Bradley Hawkins has been tabbed the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Comet Tune-up.
FREELAND, Mich. – Olivet College junior Bradley Hawkins has been tabbed the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Comet Tune-up.
Hawkins finished in second-place and shattered the school record with a 162 feet, 4 inch toss in the hammer throw. The previous record was 147 feet, 11 inches. He also posted a personal-best throw of 126 feet, 2 inches in the discus.
Hawkins and the Comets are back in action Thursday and Friday at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Field Day, hosted by Alma College.
