Men's track and field team competes at All-American Meet

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Olivet College men's track and field team competed today at the All-American Meet, hosted by Adrian College. The meet was unscored.
Despite a 10th and 11th-place finish in the 200 and 100 dash, James Williams (Battle Creek/Central) ran the races in season-best times of 22.96 seconds in the 200 and 11.31 seconds in the 100. Arthur Williams (Lansing/Holt) placed eighth in the 400 hurdles (:59.25). The men's 4x100 relay also finished in third-place and broke the school record in the 4x100 relay. Running the race were Arthur Williams, Joe Camble, Edric Miller (Battle Creek/Central) and James Williams. Their time was 42.96 seconds.
Justin Walter (Clarksville/Lakewood) tied for sixth in the high jump (1.78 meters).
Olivet will go back to Adrian next Saturday for the 2011 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree. Action will get started at 10 a.m.
