Men's track and field team opens outdoor season at Defiance Open Meet

The Olivet College men's track and field team finished in sixth-place (of seven schools) at the Defiance (Ohio) College/Yellow Jacket Open Meet.
The best finish for the Comets was by James Williams (Battle Creek/Central) in the 100 dash. He stopped the clock at 11.68 seconds, which placed him fourth. Jesse Holmes (Springport) was fifth in the 400 dash with a time of 51.97 seconds.
Olivet returns to the track next Saturday, April 9, for the All-American Meet at Adrian College.
