Olivet suffers 7-0 loss to Franklin

OLIVET, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's tennis team was upended by Franklin (Ind.) College, 7-0, today at the Tom Kolassa Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Grizzlies swept the three doubles flights to earn a team point. Franklin then won all six singles flights, including five in straight sets.

FOR THE COMETS

• Sophomore Lucas Anderson lost a three-set match at No. 1 singles. After dropping the first set (6-3), he came back to win the second set (6-2). In the match tiebreaker, Anderson fell 10-4.
• Freshman Mason Munsell fell 6-2, 7-5 at No. 3 singles.

• Olivet plays in a doubles tournament at Albion College Saturday, September 21, starting at 9 a.m. The next home match Saturday, September 28, when Olivet hosts University of Saint Francis (Ind.) at 1 p.m.
