Men’s tennis team blanked by Holy Cross, 9-0

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Olivet College men's tennis team was defeated by Holy Cross (Ind.) College, 9-0, today at the Minges Creek Athletic Club in Battle Creek.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Saints won the three doubles flights and then swept the singles matches in straight sets.

FOR THE COMETS

• The No. 1 doubles duo of Noah Bindschatel and Zachary Croze lost an 8-3 pro-set.
• Bindschatel and Donald Doyle each won four games in singles play. At the No. 2 slot, Bindschatel lost 6-2, 6-1. At the No. 3 position, Doyle suffered a 6-3, 6-1 loss.

• Olivet is now off until Sunday, March 25, when it travels to play Indiana Tech. First serve at the Wild Racquet Club in Fort Wayne is scheduled for 11 a.m.
