Men’s tennis team blanked by Defiance

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Olivet College men's tennis team was blanked 9-0 by Defiance (Ohio) College this afternoon inside the George Smart Athletic Center in Defiance, Ohio.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Yellow Jackets had no trouble in sweeping the doubles flights, losing only one total game.
• Defiance also swept the singles flights, losing seven total games among the six flights.

FOR THE COMETS

• Sophomore Jacob Richards was the most successful Olivet player, as he won three games at No. 4 singles.

UP NEXT

• Olivet returns to the courts next Thursday, March 30, when it travels to play Hope College for its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) opener, starting at 3 p.m.
