Men’s swimming & diving team beats Alma, 153-73
ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s swimming & diving team beat Alma College, 153-73, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) dual meet this evening at McClure Natatorium.

ALMA, Mich. – The Olivet College men's swimming & diving team beat Alma College, 153-73, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) dual meet this evening at McClure Natatorium.
- The biggest highlight of the meet was freshman Gavin Sutton posting an NCAA Regional qualifying score of 273.10 points on the three-meter diving board. The total ranks fifth-best in school history for a six-dive program. He also took first-place on the one-meter diving board with 217.80 points.
- Freshman Seth Kading won the 100-yard freestyle in 50.64 seconds.
- Junior Takato Timmerman was a double winner, touching the wall first in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.56 seconds and 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03.96.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of sophomore Dylan Lyons, junior Sebastian O'Leary, freshman Keith Morgan and Kading had the fastest time at 3:30.18.
- The Comets host Notre Dame College of Ohio for a non-league dual meet next Saturday, November 6. The first event at the Upton Center Pool starts at 1 p.m.
