GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Day one at the 2020 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships is complete for the Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams. The championships are taking place at the Venema Aquatic Center.
ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams lost 156-73 and 163-57 to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College this evening at the Dean Aquatic Center.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams participated in multiple dual meets today at Hillsdale College. In addition to the host Chargers and Comets, three others schools – Notre Dame College of Ohio, Tiffin (Ohio) University and Ursuline (Ohio) College – competed at the Jack McAvoy Natatorium. The Olivet men defeated Notre Dame, 147-133; and fell to Tiffin, 145-128. The Comet women beat Tiffin, 125-93; and Ursuline, 116.50-114.50, but lost to Hillsdale, 221-45; and Notre Dame, 132-99.
The Olivet College men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams opened the 2019-20 season by participating in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Relays, hosted by Calvin College and held inside the Venema Aquatic Center in Grand Rapids.
