The Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team has captured the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championship, edging Hope College by 27 points, 559-532.
With three first-place finishes in tonight’s second day of action, the Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team has narrowed the gap between first- and second-place at the 2006 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships at Jenison High School. The Comets have 353 points and are only seven points behind Hope College.
The Olivet College men’s swimming and diving team defeated Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Kalamazoo College, 151-89, this afternoon at the Upton Center pool in Olivet. With the win, the Comets end the dual meet portion of their schedule with a perfect 7-0 overall record and 5-0 MIAA.
