OLIVET, Mich. – The third annual Olivet College Men's Soccer Alumni Game was held Sunday, April 15. At least 25 alumni showed up and dressed for the match.
The game itself found the alumni on the wrong side of the final score, 2-1. Camden Iwasko and Zach Schulz found the back of the net for the varsity players. All-time leading Olivet scorer Mike May scored the only goal for the alumni.
Afterwards more than 125 players, alumni, family and friends gathered for afternoon brunch. Many stories were told, as well as the former players caught up on past times.
"I want to thank all the alumni for coming," said Olivet Head Coach Chad Wiseman. "It was fantastic to see all of them again. The history of our program is incredibly important to our current players and coaching staff. For the current players to see how passionate our alumni are about Olivet College and our soccer program is something special. We will continue to make every effort to represent our alumni, the college and community to the best of our abilities."
