The Olivet College men’s soccer team lost a heartbreaker to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Hope College, 1-0, in overtime this afternoon at Buys Athletic Field in Holland.

The Olivet College men's soccer team lost a heartbreaker to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Hope College, 1-0, in overtime this afternoon at Buys Athletic Field in Holland.
Chris Harrison scored the goal for the Flying Dutchmen with 5:01 left in the overtime period. For the game, Hope held a 19-12 advantage in shots, including 3-0 in the extra session. However, Olivet had a 6-4 edge in shots-on-goal.
The Comets led by senior Graham Lockwood (Haslett/Williamston) and freshman Phillip Glaub (Okemos) with three shots apiece. In goal, sophomore Ethan Felsing (Mason) played the entire game and collected three saves.
Olivet will return to the field Saturday when it hosts Adrian College at 2 p.m.
