The Olivet College men's soccer team defeated non-conference foe Oberlin (Ohio) College, 1-0, this afternoon at Dill Field in Oberlin.
Freshman Alan Holdorf (Novi High School) scored the Fighting Comet goal midway through the first half. Sophomore Trent Bronsink (Byron Center/South Christian High School) was credited with the assist on the goal. Junior goalkeeper Will Drogt (Kewadin/Elk Rapids High School) played the entire game.
Olivet will next play on Saturday, Sept. 18, when it hosts Aurora (Ill.) University in the second game of a women's/men's soccer doubleheader. The Olivet women will play Calvin College at noon, followed by the men's game at approximately 2:30 p.m.
