Men’s lacrosse: Haesler named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week
Olivet College sophomore Charlie Haesler has been named the MIAA Defensive Player of the Week for men’s lacrosse.
FREELAND, Mich. – Olivet College sophomore Charlie Haesler has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Defensive Player of the Week for men's lacrosse.
Haesler helped the Comets split two non-conference games last week. In a 17-14 win March 25 at Hanover (Ind.) College, he scooped up seven ground balls and caused a team-leading four turnovers. Haesler then had a team-leading seven ground balls and three caused turnovers in an 18-9 loss March 28 at John Carroll (Ohio) University.
Olivet opens MIAA play tomorrow night against Trine (Ind.) University. Game time at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet is 7 p.m.
