UOlivet was eighth at MIAA Jamboree #4

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The University of Olivet men's golf team finished in eighth-place at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #4, held today at the Watermark Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets ended the round with a 334 team score.
- Calvin University took first on its home course with a 297 team score. Trine (Ind.) University was a stroke behind with a 298. Hope College placed third with a 302, followed by Albion College in fourth at 305. Adrian College and Alma College tied for fifth with 315s. Kalamazoo College was seventh with a 318.
- Jack Besner from Trine carded a one-under par 71 to earn medalist honors.
