Olivet is eighth at MIAA Jamboree #4

TECUMSEH, Mich. –The University of Olivet men's golf team concluded the fall portion of its Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) schedule by taking eighth-place at the fourth jamboree. Today's jamboree was hosted by Adrian College at the Tecumseh Golf Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Comets had a 338 team score.
• Calvin University won the team title with a 293.
• Will Webb from Hope College was the top individual golfer with a one under par 71.

FOR THE COMETS

• Freshman Zachary Pier shot Olivet's low score with an 81.
• Freshman Bradon Ellis carded an 84.
• Sophomore Brady Applegate posted an 85.
• Sophomore Noah LaValley finished his round in 88 strokes.
• Freshman Luke Hurlburt competed as an individual scorer and also had an 88.

UP NEXT

• Olivet ends the fall season on Monday at the Lourdes Invitational at the Sylvania Country Club in Sylvania, Ohio.
