Men’s Golf: Olivet finishes eighth at MIAA Jamboree #3

ANGOLA, Ind. –The University of Olivet men's golf team came home with an eighth-place finish at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #3, played at the Zollner Golf Course and hosted by Trine (Ind.) University.

• The Comets posted a season-low 320 team score.
• Hope College took first with a 281 team score.
• Will Webb captured medalist honors with a four-under par 67.

• Olivet's four scoring golfers were separated by two strokes.
• Junior Connor Jewell shot a 79.
• Freshmen Brady Applegate and Noah LaValley carded matching 80s.
• Junior Dylan Beck had an 81.
• Sophomore Mitchell Bair-Pollard finished with an 89.

• The Comets host the fourth league jamboree Wednesday, October 11, at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, starting at 1 p.m.
