Men’s golf team starts spring schedule at Jekyll Island Individual Championship
JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Olivet College men’s golf team opened its spring schedule by competing at the Jekyll Island Individual Collegiate Championship, played on the Oleandar Course at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. The tournament was reduced to 36 holes after rain showers forced the course to be unplayable.

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Olivet College men's golf team opened its spring schedule by competing at the Jekyll Island Individual Collegiate Championship, played on the Oleandar Course at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. The tournament was reduced to 36 holes after rain showers forced the course to be unplayable.
- Junior Wes Darrow tied for 20th of 39 golfers after shooting a two-round total of 157 (76-81) strokes. The 76 was a career-best score.
- Freshman Connor Jewell had a 181 (90-91).
- Sophomore Blake McLane carded a 184 (95-89).
- Freshman Dylan Beck posted a 192 (89-103) in his first collegiate golf tournament.
- The Comets are off until Saturday, April 2, when they participate in the Bluffton Invitational at the Hidden Creek Golf Club in Lima, Ohio.
