Men’s basketball: Coles reduces role from game-day coaching duties

OLIVET, Mich. – Due to the lingering effects of an accident suffered last summer, Olivet College Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Coles will be taking on a reduced role for the remainder of the 2014-15 season. Assistant Coach Brent Cork will coach the team during the remaining varsity games this season.

"The health of Coach Coles is our priority," said Athletic Director Dave Sichterman. "The College supports Chris as he takes the time he needs to fully recover from his accident. We look forward to having him back on the bench at full capacity."

Coles will continue to handle the rest of his head coaching duties, as usual, including recruiting, game-day preparations and running practices.
