Football team clinches share of MIAA title with 44-37 win at Adrian

The Olivet College football team clinched a share of the 2016 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship with a 44-37 win over Adrian College this afternoon at Docking Stadium in Adrian. With the win and also with Alma beating Trine, 41-33, the Comets secure the MIAA’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Championships.

Football team defeats Alma, 36-30, to stay undefeated in MIAA play

Senior Braden Black was 17-of-21 passing for 279 yards and four touchdowns to help the Olivet College football team defeat Alma College, 36-30, this afternoon at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. With the win, the Comets improve their overall record 7-1 and stay on top of the MIAA standings with a 4-0 record.
