Lackscheide named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week

Olivet College senior punter Ken Lackscheide (Vermontville/Maple Valley) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week.
In the Comets' 20-14 win against Kalamazoo College Oct. 29, Lackscheide averaged 48.5 yards on two punts with a long of 56 yards. For the season, he is averaging 36.5 yards on 32 punts. Lackscheide's longest punt is 60 yards, and nine punts have been downed inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
Olivet (4-4, 3-2 MIAA) is back in action Saturday, Nov. 5, when it travels to play Wisconsin Lutheran College at 1 p.m. ET.
