CONWAY, S.C. – The University of Olivet baseball team fell to Hilbert (N.Y.) College, 5-3, in its first spring break game at the Ripken Baseball Tournament. The game was played at Conway High School.
THE BASICS
- Final Score: Hilbert 5, Olivet 3

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Hawks scored two runs in the first inning and three runs in the third to take a 5-0 lead.
- The Comets scored one run in the fifth and sixth innings to trim their deficit down to three runs. In the ninth, Olivet plated one run and had two runners on base before a double play ended the game.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Mikey Kuzara went 3-for-4 with two singles and a double.
- Junior Austin Alflen and freshman Mario Ricard recorded two hits apiece.
- Alflen, Kuzara and junior Austin Wittrock each drove in a run.
- Senior Bryan Carney suffered the pitching loss. Junior Logan Lewis threw four scoreless innings of relief.
