Baseball team drops season-opening doubleheader at Earlham
RICHMOND, Ind. – The Olivet College baseball team lost both games of its season-opening doubleheader to Earlham (Ind.) College this afternoon at Randal R. Sadler Stadium. The Quakers won by scores of 20-4 and 9-4.

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Olivet College baseball team lost both games of its season-opening doubleheader to Earlham (Ind.) College this afternoon at Randal R. Sadler Stadium. The Quakers won by scores of 20-4 and 9-4.

- The Quakers scored at least one run in every inning between the second and seventh innings, including erupting for five runs in the fourth and six runs in the seventh.
- The Comets had single tallies in the third, fifth, sixth and ninth innings.
- Olivet totaled eight hits – one single, six doubles and one home run. The six doubles tie for the fifth-most in a game since the 2003 season.
- Junior Sylas Woll went 2-for-4 at the plate, with two doubles.
- Freshman Mason Cook hit a pinch-hit, home run in the ninth inning.
- Seniors Ben Compton and Matt Fisher, and sophomore Gabriel Kirck each had an RBI-double.
- Sophomore Keegan Kuha was tagged with the pitching loss. He surrendered eight runs (four earned) on five hits over the first three and two-third innings.
- Earlham recorded 15 hits, including five doubles.
- Zach Swearington was 4-for-6 with two doubles, two singles, four RBI and three runs.

- Justin Dillhoff earned the pitching win after giving up two runs on four hits over the first five innings.

- Devin Basley collected two RBI.
