Soccer teams to host breast cancer awareness event TOMORROW
The Olivet College men’s and women’s soccer teams will host a breast cancer awareness event at their games TOMORROW, OCT. 24, against Trine (Ind.) University.
OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s soccer teams will host a breast cancer awareness event at their games TOMORROW, OCT. 24, against Trine (Ind.) University. The men’s game against Trine will kick-off at noon, followed by the women’s game vs. the Thunder at approximately 2:30 p.m.
The event is support of the mother of two Olivet men’s soccer players – Donna Petty and Diana Terry – who are battling breast cancer. Special T-shirts and wristbands for the occasion will be available for purchase at $10 and $3 each, respectively. Profits from the sale of the T-shirts and wristbands, as well as all donations, will be split evenly between The Pink Fund in honor of Donna Petty and Breast Cancer Research Foundation in honor of Diana Terry.
