Olivet College cross country teams earn academic honor
The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams have earned All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

OLIVET, Mich. – The Olivet College men’s and women’s cross country teams have earned All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
To receive this honor, teams must have had a team cumulative team grade point average (GPA) of 3.10 or higher for the fall semester. Under the leadership of head coach Jeff Kavalunas, the Comet men had a team cumulative GPA of 3.52. Led by head coach Karen Lutzke, the women’s team had a cumulative GPA of 3.40. They have received this honor for a third straight year.
