UOlivet men’s and women’s track & field teams, Campbell earn USTFCCCA All-Academic honors
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Olivet men's and women's track & field teams have earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). In addition, rising junior Yrral Campell was selected to the USTFCCCA Individual All-Academic Team.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a team must have a cumulative team grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.10. For individuals, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30, competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship and/or finished the regular season ranked in the national top 50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 35 in a relay event on the official NCAA Descending Order List.
Under the leadership of head coach Karen Lutzke, the Comet women posted a 3.35 GPA and the men had a 3.22 GPA during the 2026-27 academic year. The women's squad has received this recognition every year since 2010 – 16 consecutive seasons. The men's team has received this honor six times (2012, 2015, 2017, 2024, 2025, 2026).
A criminal justice major, Campbell is the 11th male student-athlete in school history to earn the honor.
