Four Olivet College teams receive MIAA team GPA award

Four Olivet College teams have received the 2008-09 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) team GPA award. This award is presented to conference teams who achieve a 3.300 or better grade point average for the entire academic year.

Leading the way for the Comets was the women’s golf team with a 3.520 GPA. The women’s tennis team had a 3.472 GPA, followed by the softball team with a 3.340 GPA and the women’s swimming and diving team with a 3.335 GPA. The women’s swimming and diving team has received the honor six consecutive years.
