Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - April 18, 2022

The Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is sophomore Hayden Germain, of Pewamo, and graduate of Pewamo-Westphalia High School. At the Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational, Germain took first in the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 1:57.92. The time was the fastest of 45 runners in the race and one minute, 47 seconds quicker than the runner-up finisher.

The Dean Trailways Female Comet of the Week is sophomore Allyson Stevens, of Fenwick, and graduate of Carson City Crystal High School. Stevens posted a personal-best mark of 96 feet, 9 inches in the javelin at the Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational. The performance placed her fifth of 26 student-athletes in the event.
