Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - November 1, 2021

The second Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is sophomore Cortaveon Barnett, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and graduate of Lawrence Central High School. Barnett had 17 carries for 208 yards and three touchdowns in leading the football team to a 49-7 victory over Kalamazoo College. His touchdown runs covered 72, 28 and 43 yards, and all three were in the first quarter.

The third Dean Trailways Male Comet of the Week is senior Ta’Mar Heart-Wilkins, of Saginaw, and graduate of Saginaw High School. Heart-Wilkins led the defense in helping Olivet defeat Kalamazoo, 49-7. He had five total tackles, including 4.5 for minus 21 yards. Three of the tackles for loss were quarterback sacks for negative 19 yards, with one also being a forced fumble.
