Dean Trailways Comets of the Week - January 31, 2022

The Dean Trailways Co-Male Comet of the Week is sophomore Justin Carnahan, of Corunna, and graduate of New Lothrop High School. Carnahan captured the 184-pound title at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Individual Championships. He had a 3-0 record, with two first-period pins (2:20 and 2:25) and a 5-3 decision victory in the championship match.

The Dean Trailways Co-Male Comet of the Week is junior Owen Guilford, of Portland, and graduate of Portland High School. Guiford took first-place in the 174-pound bracket at the 2022 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Individual Championships. He posted a 3-0 record, with a 58-second pin, 16-0 technical fall and 9-0 major decision in the championship match.
